What provfiska is

provfiska.se is a free, educational simulation service. The content is provided as is, without warranties, and needs no account.

Not a catch forecast

The simulation is for practice and learning — it is not a guarantee of real fishing results and should not be read as a bite forecast for a specific day. If you want a forecast, use Huggtabell.se.

Your responsibility when fishing for real

When you fish for real, you are responsible for following local fishing rules, closed seasons and minimum sizes, and for holding a valid licence (fiskekort) where required.

Data and sources

Data comes from SLU, SMHI and Lantmäteriet and belongs to those sources. Maps, terrain and depth data are shown with attribution under the applicable licence (e.g. © SMHI, CC BY 4.0 and © Lantmäteriet, CC BY 4.0, adapted).

Limitation of liability

provfiska is not liable for decisions you make based on the simulation — you use the service at your own risk. Nor are we liable for indirect damages or for temporary outages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swedish law.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the date above shows when they last changed. Swedish law applies and disputes are heard by Swedish courts.
